Naples, Italy

Here we are on our cruise in Naples. That is Mt. Vesuvius in the background and Corsica off to the right. We will be here again in September, and Allen really wants to climb Mt. Vesuvius this time....

Our last foray into Naples was to get sheets for the toga party. The narrow streets and F*ing crazy scooter drivers make it a damn near death match crossing any intersection. The beep beep of moped horns echoes throughout the city, warning pedestrians to move over the 2" they have left to avoid being run down.

I mean CAN YOU IMAGINE....being run down by a scooter??? In Italy??? With bathsheets and cheap 10 Euro sunglasses you wear on your head like their a $1000 pair of Prada ones just because you got them at the Italian Outlet in Tuscany which is no different than being in New Jersey Factory Outlets except for the espresso bar and lack of baseball hats....That's like being an alcoholic at AA and saying Bartles and James wine coolers brought you down!!! LOLOL!!!

I remember being in Amsterdam and daring NOT step off the curb for fear of being run down by a bicycle....and we saw it happen. We also saw the police pulling over bicycles and ticketing them for speeding.....you boys are looking good! We're in ALB this morning and driving to Providence this afternoon!
